Khurshed Yazdi Daruvala
Chairman and Non-Executive Director
Khurshed Daruvala holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai and is an associate member of the ICAI. He has been part of the Sterling and Wilson Group for about 25 years and has held the position of Managing Director of Sterling and Wilson Private Limited. He has been on the Board of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited since April 25, 2018.

Pallon Shapoorji Mistry
Non-Executive Director
Pallon Mistry holds a Master’s degree in Science with merit in strategic marketing from Imperial College, London. He is on the board of companies such as Shapoorji Pallonji and Company Private Limited, Afcons Infrastructure Limited, Shapoorji Pallonji Infrastructure Capital Company Private Limited, Shapoorji Pallonji Oil and Gas Private Limited and Sterling and Wilson Private Limited. He has been on the Board of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited since August 2, 2018.

Keki Manchersha Elavia
Independent Director
Keki Elavia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai and is a practising Chartered Accountant. He is a fellow member of the ICAI. He has, in the past, served as a partner of Kalyaniwalla & Mistry, Chartered Accountants and S.R. Batliboi & Co, Chartered Accountants. With over 35 years of experience in Audit and Finance related matters, he has been on the Board of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited since March 27, 2019.

Rukhshana Mistry has been a practising Chartered Accountant for over 29 years. She has been on the Board of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited since March 27, 2019.

Amit Jain
Global Chief Executive Officer
Amit joined Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group in 2019 as the Country Head for USA and Australia. He has been instrumental in developing Australia as a key and successful market for the company, making it amongst the largest solar EPC players in the region. In his new role as Global CEO, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, Amit will oversee the company’s worldwide operations.
Amit is a veteran in the EPC sector with over 29 years of experience in various industries such as Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, Chemical/Process Plants, Power Transmission and Telecom Infrastructure. His expertise lies in developing new markets as well as the management and execution of mega projects in challenging environments. In his previous role with Punj Lloyd, Amit held various senior leadership positions while managing the P&L responsibility for Qatar and Oman. Earlier in his career, he also worked with ABB and RPG Transmission Limited.

Nishith Shah
Chief Executive Officer
Nishith Shah is CEO, E-Mobility Business at Sterling and Wilson Enel X e-Mobility Private Limited, a 50-50 joint venture between Sterling and Wilson Private Limited and Enel X Way. In his role, Nishith is entrusted to create a world-class electric vehicle charging infrastructure across India, offering Indian consumers with Enel X Way’s innovative electric vehicle charging technology and software solutions along with Sterling and Wilson’s vast project management capabilities and solutions.
Before joining Sterling and Wilson, Nishith was Sales Director – Asia Pacific at Johnson Controls, where he spearheaded a team of 50 professionals to manage 4 sub-regions and sales across 20 countries. He was instrumental in increasing the company’s market share and revenue during his four-year tenure as a Sales Director.
With a rich career spanning three decades, Nishith is widely recognised as a strategic business leader and sales enabler. He has been responsible for strategizing and setting up businesses and has an intrinsic flair for problem-solving and relationship management. He is skilled at delivering high-value performance throughout the development and growth stage which drives consistent bottom- and top-line improvements.
Nishith is a Mechanical Engineer from Manipal Institute of Technology and holds an MBA in Finance from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. He lives in Mumbai with his wife and son and has keen interest in working with social organisations to contribute his learning back to society.

Bahadur Dastoor
Chief Financial Officer
Bahadur Dastoor has been with Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited since July 1, 2018 and has been associated with the Sterling and Wilson Group since December 1, 2010. In addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Mumbai, he is a fellow member of the ICAI and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (certified by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association). He has over 23 years of experience in finance and audit related matters and has previously worked with Godrej and Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited as General Manager – Finance; Lovelock and Lewes as Manager in Assurance and Business Advisory Services Department, and Kalyaniwalla and Mistry.

Jagannadha Rao Ch. V.
Company Secretary and Compliance Officer
Jagannadha Rao joined Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited on May 8, 2018. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Law from Nagarjuna University and Bangalore University, respectively. He is also a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. With about 33 years of experience in Secretarial and Legal matters, he has previously worked with Sri Vishnu Cement Limited as Company Secretary and Deputy General Manager (Legal), Lazard India Limited as Vice President and KEC International Limited as Vice President – Legal and Company Secretary.

Chandra Kishore Thakur
CEO – Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe
Chandra Kishore Thakur (CK) joined SWRE in 2018 as the COO - International Business, overseeing project operations across MENA, Africa and Latin America. During this period, he established high quality execution capabilities that significantly contributed to the company becoming one of the world’s leading solar EPC solutions providers.
Before joining SWRE, CK was President and CEO - Power and Infrastructure business at Punj Lloyd Limited. Prior to that, he served as the COO - EPC Vertical at Lanco Infratech Limited. He started and built his career with NTPC Limited, India’s largest energy conglomerate, where he spent around 22 years.
CK is Mechanical Engineer from NIT, Jamshedpur and holds an MBA degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University. He is a certified first level-A portfolio director from PMA/IPMA (International Project Management Association). He is also the Vice President of the national management council of PMA India and works exhaustively towards spreading project management knowledge and best practices across industries. He has worked for the Confederation of India Industry’s National Committee of Renewable Energy, representing and supporting the industry on policy advocacy.
